Description Disc mill
The disc mill has a fixed disc and a rotating disc. With a spindle, the grinding distance between these discs is infinitely adjustable, eliminating the need for sieves. The disc spacing can be adjusted even with the machine running, making it very easy to change the grain size of the ground product.
The discs are made of high-quality materials with a long service life: on average, the discs can grind about 5,00 to 10,00 tons of material before they need to be replaced. Disc mills are one average 10% more efficient in power consumption than hammer mills and can achieve a capacity of about 6 tons/hour.
Machines with capacities of up to 24 tons/hour are available upon request. Finally, because there are no loose parts lying around in the disc mill, it is a lot quieter than a hammer mill. Very useful when people are working close to the machine.
