Description Curved belt conveyor
Jansen&Heuning’s belt conveyor is designed for moving loose material upwards. This conveyor efficiently bridges height differences and is often used at silos, unloading stations and bunkers. Depending on the desired trajectory, the conveyor is designed as a standard incline belt or as a curved belt conveyor. The latter is suitable for extreme angles up to 90° and curve shapes (e.g. L- or Z-shape). This allows compact installations with minimal floor space. Drive is via drum motor or directly coupled gearbox. The design is matched to product type, head and available space.
There may be times when a conveyor requires such a large angle of elevation that smooth or profiled belts will not work. With curved belts, you can elevate very steeply or even vertically. The special, laterally stable belt body of a curved belt allows the belt to be curved in all possible ways: straight, L-shaped and Z-shaped.
A curved belt is a belt consisting of a transversely stable belt with corrugated edges and carriers. The free edge zone next to the edges is used to guide the belt through the curves. The belt is so rigid in the transverse direction that only the sides need to be supported or guided. Jansen&Heuning has carried out many projects and therefore has extensive experience with curved belts.
