Description Grain mixer

The Grain Butler is a self propelled stirring auger equipped with an electrically driven rotating auger.

Use

The stirring auger is intended for mixing grain in a store with the aim of homogenizing the batch and promoting aeration. Once the dish is placed on the grain, the auger can be turned on and “rotate” in the hump.

Once the auger is mounted on the platter, the platter can be placed on the hump. You press the auger onto the grain and turn on the machine. Once the auger begins to turn, you can guide it into the hump.

Advantages

  • Lifts the lowest grain in the hump
  • Lifts hot spots
  • Provides better aeration
  • Ensures better drying possibilities by moving the grain from the bottom to the top
  • Allows bulk storage of grain with higher temperatures and humidity

Technical data

  • 2.2 kW (3.0 hp) motor with motor protection and start/stop button
  • Stirring auger (available from 1 meter up to 4 meters)
  • Weight approx. 43 kg (with 3 meter auger)
  • Working width approx. 70 cm
  • Works itself forward at approx. 200 cm/min (depending on how firm the grain is and the length of the auger)

Options

On request the stirring auger can be equipped with the following options:

  • Rudder for a straight course of the stirring auger in the hump
  • Remote controlled stirrer (up to a distance of approx. 100 m)
