Last year, two grain silos with a total capacity of 450 tonnes have been places at arable farm Sandee in Meeden (NL). “The experiences have been very positive and the system is up to 100 percent fault-free so far. What more do you want?”

One silo is equipped with a stirring installation for drying grain. This makes it possible to dry wet grain back to 15% in a controlled manner and to store it for a long time. The filling and emptying of the silos is done at a speed of more than sixty tons per hour. Previously the grain was stored in indoor silos and Sandee was a bit done with that.
