Description Pre-cleaner
The pre-cleaner removes light material such as chaff and straw from the product flow before further processing. It can be installed at any position in the fall pipe and provides an initial separation between light and heavy fractions. Besides stationary setups, Jansen&Heuning also supplies mobile pre-cleaners, enabling cleaning directly from truck or trailer.
Working of the pre-cleaner
A fan draws air through the fall pipe. Light particles are separated via the cleaning cone and control valve, while the heavier product continues downward. The airflow can be adjusted with the control valve. For dust removal, a cyclone or filter box can be added to collect and discharge fine particles in a clean way.
