A lumpbreaker grinds agglomerated product masses that form due to storage or increased pressure. The machine breaks up these lumps so that the product flows freely again. For larger, hardened masses, Jansen&Heuning refers to the fully automatic bigbag crusher.
How The Lumpbreaker Works
The lumpbreaker performs mechanical action on hardened lumps within the bulk material flow. Product passes through crushing elements or over grates, which fragment the clumps into smaller, free-flowing granules or chunks. The final grain size depends on the grate mesh size and the initial lump consistency. The system can be configured to suit your material properties.
