Elevators
For vertical transport of bulk material like sand, salt, grain, fertilizer and cement.
|
Until recently it was common to use a long sloping belt conveyor to fill high silos. Times have changed: pollution of the horizon and rising ground prices make us look for other solutions like an elevator. |
As a result the required surface area would be as much as 60 x 2 m = 120 m². You can easily determine how much either solution will cost your company. For the transport of dry substances like grain and flour the elevator already proved its value as an extremely reliable transport method. Thanks to the development and utilisation of rubber belts with layers of synthetic materials stretching hardly occurs and power transmission has greatly improved. This, in combination with the use of synthetic buckets, makes the elevator ideal for the transport of sand, gravel and other abrasive or slightly sticking products. |
